My only real problem with a wrongler is that there's no cargo room for tools, parts and camping gear for play and no room for tools, parts, chain saws and feed at work.

i like em both. however, i prefer to wheel my xj just for the comfort.
but straight outta the box, it's wrangler, hands down.
my budget boosted tj on 33's with lsd gets me anywhere my xj has gotten me, and without breaking. lol.

I think we can all agree jeep is jeep and we love them. I only see the difference between a Real Jeep and a princess. By that I mean a jeep that is loved, touched the dirt in its life and has some dents and dings VS a pounder all beefed out on shinny rims with a winch that will never be used because it will never see dirt. Also known as the Barbie jeep or the Tool Tank when we're talkin about wranglers. To each their own though.

I love my XJ and will always favor the XJ but if I was given an old school wrongler lifted with 33s, I'd happily drive it. Though I can't stand the new wronglers. 4 doors?? Come'n looks like a hummer screwed a wrongler and had a kid, bleh.
I'm just super jealous of their removable doors while us XJ owners need to decide between doored or doorless but w/o the exact fit lineup we had before. Sad day. Lol

I agree, Id like to keep mine around for many years to come. Its like the old fj40s, some are 30-40 years old and you dont see em much but when you do they are eyecandy. I think xj's will be around for at least another 15 years then they will start to become more scarce...and hopefully their value will appreciate. But if there never were any xj's at all Id just lift my commander or buy a yota.

Honestly, I had never really noticed XJs back in the bay area, ca. Then I was looking to purchase a vehicle before moving out to colorado and found my XJ. Read some great reviews and bought it, moved out to Colorado and now I see them everywhere! Lol
