I am getting tired of the bashing. There to many tip touchers that drive wronglers.

I've had a wrangler, it was a blast in the summer with the top off, but wouldn't trade it for my Cherokee, The wranglers do pretty good in some situations, but the Cherokees kick a$$ in ALL situations.

I have both an 01' XJ and an 02' TJ. I am first and foremost a JEEP lover. That being said, i spend more time and money with the XJ just cuz it's a personal preferance. I have a lot of fun with my XJ. both vehicles have their pro's and con's. I would be happy to wheel any jeep.

people that drive neither think that wrangler LOOKS more capable. most real jeepers don't have any issues with any other one. of course, most of us are not fans of compass, patriot and such.

we have 2 tj's, both on 33's. they both get just as far or sometimes even further than my xj on 36's.
but they ride like a lumberwagon compared to my long arm xj. but go figure.
they are still just as capable. i would put either one up against an xj and see which one gets further.
my xj is auto, locked, both tj's are 5spd and lsd.

I had a wrongler... don't get me wrong it was a good vehicle. But there is NOTHING that would make me want to wheel it over my XJ. The whole top off thing was nice until it started to get cold.... and did it get really cold.
