Not enough purchase on the studs

 

I dont know what that means. But, let me get this straight. I have a 2000 sport with the stock steelies. If I go out and get some stock aluminum or alloy take offs from a zj or whatever, I will have to get new studs? Ive never heard of that before. Is this true? Can someone confirm this?

 

That's the problem I had I've never heard of that problem either until now

 

The p.o. could've replaced the studs with shorter ones also a possibility

 

I hope so. That would be a pain in the *** if I had to replace all my studs.

 

It really is and the new studs are like 4bucks each
