Mine is obviously a safari snorkel. Paid for the 97+ kit which is stupid. That bottle they give you blows, buy the 96 and below for 150 less and get an older xj bottle. I've been up over midway the windshield in water with my doors on(sweet pucker factor), and came out fine thanks to some good prevenative water penetration techniques.

Looks nice pretty sweet. I also really like the location of your hood vents-never seen that before for some reason, I think I know where I am going to put some vents now.Originally Posted by bamfxj
You heard it. Post your pics of your snorkels (high in the sky, homemade, manufactured, in cab). Routing options too (under stock box, different box, side fender). Mine is obviously a safari snorkel. Thanks man. Had to keep my finder as open as I could more trimming yet to do. Next year want my 60s under it with 39s and legally still need flairs. So didn't want to try that with the plastic ones.Originally Posted by bamfxj

Anyway, here's my $150 safari snorkel off of Craigslist. I've been in deep enough to cover the hood and no issues. Everything electrical under the hood is coated in dielectric.
I just drove by your church the other day and noticed the snorkel. Looking good man!Originally Posted by no rdplz
