Default Where Should I Start

Hey Guys,

Got myself a 2000 Cherokee Sport that is 170,000 miles young. I've had it for about 8 years and the only things I've done are replacing the radiator, front bearings, battery/belt replacement, oil/filter changes, tire changes.

I've recently got a better job that allows me to put some (not a ton) of money into my jeep, and he deserves it.

To start I've got a Short Ram Air Intake, Bosch 4-hole fuel injectors, Autolite PP Plugs, and soon I am getting a walker exhaust kit.

I have plans to get: Lift - 4" (I am 6'5" this would help), Bilstein Shocks, Crager Soft 8s in Black.

I also plan to cut all the rust off the bottom of my doors/rocker and replace it with black diamond steel plates, and to completely murder out my Jeep. I started by sanding down and painting the silver jeep logos, I plan to buy DVH Nightshade (*SP) to black out my headlights.

What else should I be looking into doing/getting?

I don't have all the money in the world, but if I could split the difference between quality and value I would be happy.

Blacking out your headlights should be crossed off that list

Why in the world would you black out your headlights, or any lights for that matter?

Maybe blackout the tail lights but i wouldn't do the headlights, your asking for a ticket/car accident.

I would replace the rockers with 2x6 steel tubing so you have rock sliders.

X2 if you're going to be in there already. And frame stuffiness while you're at it

Also I feel that plasti dip might help you in your "dark quest" because it can be easy to apply, and can be peeled off for resale value or change of heart. Also, just in case it helps you when you search for your lift, most places sell 4.5" lifts, rather than 4". The only ones who seem to do 4" lifts and call them that, are lesser-known companies. Just an fyi
