I used the bracket that came with mine and riveted it to the spare tire mounting bracket. The 3" quickfist holds the Kidde units perfect and probably would work in same location.

$17 at Wal-Mart, and two little bolts I found in my toolbox. Found some nasty rust on my quarter panel when I took off the interior piece to mount it...

While I like the idea of mounting one on the A-pillar by drivers or passenger's side...they just seem obnoxious there, and in the way. If there's some kind of skinny one or low-profile exinguisher, I'd be open to that idea..
