Default Where did you mount your PA speaker?

Picked up a pa speaker for my cb, and wondering where to mount it. Prefer somewhere under the hood unless it blocks to much sound. Its waterproof, or at least so it says. Any help

what kind of speaker did you get?
i mounted mine inside the bumper on the passanger side!
my buddy has his between the grille and the radiator
and another friend has his straight on the roof of his truck
it says its waterproof but i would keep it from being totally submerged!

PA's are super fun

depends on what all you decide to get
a cheapo good enough cb radio is 40 bucks at walmart or you can get a beastly cb at a truck stop or order one for easily over 100 bucks

radioshack has pa speakers that can be used from 25 to 50 bucks or get one at a local 4x4 shop for 12 bucks

Depending on the size just stick it in your front bumper since its hollow if you still have a stock bumper

ya if it fits the front bumper is perfect and kinda amplifies the sound thru the half hallow stock bumpers but if not there is room behind the grille easy

i got mine when i was still in highschool and iv had more fun with it then i thought i would
get all kinds of siren sounds and anything else you think is funny on your phone or recorded on like an ipod or something to play out of the speaker

one of my friends has an ecplise with a 150watt pa and he has this like sexual sex sounds that is like two people gettiin it on moaning and all that he plays sometimes in parking lots and people give the weirdest nasty looks in our direction

Yeah they are alot of fun, just dont do it infront of a cop. lol

I got mine for 16 bucks off amazon. not too shabby.

I mounted mine under my intake, which is like the cone? yeah there.

Never had a problem but....... went offroading and on a hot texas day with my overheating engine, the plastic warped just a bit.
Just a bit, surprised it didnt break, they are rugged.
