You arnt changing the whole gear set to install a lunch box locker. Only the spider gears. All you need to do is keep track of the two shims and everything goes back in the same exact with two plates.

Ahah – much less complicated than a true locker. I never really took the time to tell the difference between one of these and the controllable locker.

Theres actually 3 main locker types.

1. Selectable. Fully replaces the carrier. Requires complete disassebly of different innards. Example: OX, ARB, Eaton

2.Lunchbox Autolocker. Only requires the removal of the spider gears. Can be done in a an hour without special tools. Example: Spartan or Aussie.

3. Full case auto locker. Just like a lunch box locker but significantly stronger. Completely replaces the carrier but is not selectable. Detroit locker is a good example.

I love me some good old-fashioned controllable lockers. Need lock? *flips switch* Done? *flips switch again*

For Ron's purpose, I think an Aussie lunchbox would be just fine for what hes needs it for. And the Dana 35 will not be a problem.

Ron, I'm beginning to think something else is causing the blurriness.....

You just need some extra traction and you're not gonna beat the rig, right?

That's about the size of it. My road does enough beating all by itself if I don't keep it under 7 or 8 mph going up or down.
