Have you tried looking at Synergy Suspension? Thought Ive seen that style in their catalog. Think it was meant for use as a shock mount.

all those have heimed ends too.

I wouldn't just send a bolt through it all... or even leave it a little loose to allow it to swivel and misalign. i would definately try to get a uniball in the mount.

will need to get a sleeve for it to press in though and make a mount. but would allow unrestricted movement and a tight joint.
