I Hope this is a thread that can go for a while. Here's a place for all of your stories, concerns, views on Jeep, this is where they can go. Do people make fun of your rig, or do you hate the liberty and patriot. Did someone in a Toyota FJ try and race you cause they feel toyota is actually better than a jeep. We all have something on our mind that we want to let out, this is where is can be told. Just please remember there's others reading so keep it clean.

 

First post! nearly 2 years later! Ha well I hate liberty, and most toyotas are faster than our jeeps lol

 

I hate all the new style Jeeps that aren't the Wrangler. I will admit that some aftermarket mods to the new Wrangler can make it a sick-looking show Jeep.

I also have a hate towards Chrysler for making the whole Jeep lineup granny-friendly. They totally wussed out the lineup. Why would I want curves and minivan motors in my off-road vehicles? I wouldn't. Jeep XJ today and forever.

Also, I hate when big lifted trucks think they're cooler than you because they can out-accelerate you at a red light. Jeeps aren't made for racing. They're made for going off-road and not breaking in half on a bump like imported trucks do.

No one has actually made fun of my rig; in fact, I get a lot of positive comments. I've been trying to keep it as clean as possible and if I could have avoided the dent I put into it in the trails on my first time, that is the only thing I would have done differently. I like how it turned out and I can't wait to make it better.

Also makes me mad when other Jeepers don't Jeep wave back to me :P

eh, i cant say i like the newer jeep lineup but i cant blame chrysler for making them. its the only way they could stay afloat. not everyone is out there to buy a rugged off road SUV so of course they are going to cater to the larger group of buyers. they are still somewhat trying to incorporate off road features while retaining good on road confort. i do wish they would put solid axles in something else besides the wrangler, but the wrangler is selling so well theres really no reason to try and make another rugged off road machine.

The jeep of my dreams is becoming a reality. I want a true trac rear diff and cutting brakes. Electric fan, and some roof sliders. Oh, and a winch and bumpers. And thats it. The perfect jeep for me.

Oh.....And the jeep will smoke the yotas

 

Only thing on my mind is how bad I want a Detours winch mount. Got the winch sitting in my garage ready to be mounted.
And I'm looking forward to the weekend, I go wheeling every weekend

Oh, I need to hurry up and order a lift too, to replace the very worn out springs in my Jeep. Then I'll be happy with it
