if it has dana 44 with 4.56 or 4.88 and an RC long arm, definitely 2500, but if it has C8.25 with 4.56 or 4.88 then not much more than 1500. if it has dana 35 with 3.55, then about 600-800 depending on how the rest of it is. around here it's not that hard to find a decent XJ for a decent price. it is however hard to find one with good axles.

Get pic from dows low and side shot so that we can see the suspension and axles. From what I can see I wouldn't pay more than $1000. But then I would nevel by a XJ that has obviously been wheeled hard. Unless it was to be a strickly trailered rig AND I was a very good friend of the builder/seller.

That thing looks like it would be one headache after another, looks cool yeah, but I wouldn't spend more than a grand on it, looks like it's been wheeled pretty hard and those tires are just way too overkill for the little xj axles, I wouldn't even bother, let some high school kid buy it,lol.
On second thought, if it's got good gearing, I'd buy it and trade those 35's for some 33's, I had 33x12.50's TSL's on steelies on my Chevy truck and those things weighed in at 100 lb.s each, so I'd imagine those 35's probably weigh at least 120 if not more, those 35's are too much for most 1/2 ton truck axles, and with the weak axles xj's came with you'd be breaking axles and u-joint's just about every time you drive it. But who knows, maybe it's got a built D44 front and a 14 bolt rear with 5.13 gears!,lol. From what I can see of it, I'd DEFINITELY go for the red one over the one with the Boggers. Let us know if you get it, it's definitely a head turner, that's for sure.

I agree with around $1500, but it's hard to tell from just a picture.
