Default What's it worth???

Local dealership has a mint 93 Cherokee Sport with 82K miles on it. I'm talking eat off the motor clean. Has it priced at $6500. KBB has it at like $3500 lol but I feel that's an inaccurate assessment of the rig. What do you guys think a 23 year old Cherokee is worth that is in that condition?

Here's a link hopefully it works.

it's worth what someone will pay for it. Paid close to that for a 99 perfect condition, 104k 3 years ago. If you think it's worth it get it.

This is truth. Although I do think it's priced a tad high. Clean and low miles is a plus, but that alone will only add a nominal addition above any other XJ. Looks like it has a small lift ($150 BB), different wheels ($200 for new black steelies), and used slightly larger than stock tires. Split the difference and offer $5000 (OTD) if you really really want it.

KBB has it listed to high look at a dealers version of the NADA what is really used by dealers and banks. Better yet call a bank and ask what they will lend on a 93 Cherokee today.

JMO but very high for that year model even in that condition.

A thing is worth what a buyer and seller agree upon. The end. 6500 is waaaaay overpriced no matter what in my opinion, but dealerships pull that kind of stupid crap all the time. I'd be surprised if they paid more than 1500 for it in trade. 85k miles may seem relatively low, but A LOT happens in 85k miles--that vehicle is far from mint.

It looks likely owned by someone with at least some level of enthusiasm. Looks like maybe an aftermarket header. Rugged Ridge mats. Lifted. Aftermarket steelies. Unoriginal spark plug wires. Nothing of much value, but small hints at what kind of person had it.

If it truly is in perfect condition, I might go as high as 5000, but my perspective is that of a Wisconsinite--clean XJ's are harder to come by here and are more valuable. I wouldn't be surprised if a guy like me wouldn't pay more than 4000 for that in AR.
