302 Cherokee Build
So having fun this is as far as I am now I can post earlier pics from where I started which has been a very humble beginning lol. This XJ should be on the road in a week or two and I can't wait. 515 Hors 302 was dumped into it and I am asking for input on bumpers, roof rack, unibody reinforcement etc.... So hope you all like the pic and would love to see your pics as well!!

At 500hp full length frame stiffiners are an absolute must. A full cage would be best. That's going to twist the cute little xj body to hell.
Cool swap, looks great.

I am running a Dana 44 front and Ford 9 rear end currently there are 355 gears in it I was planning on running it for a few weeks or so to see about where I should be heading for the gears. The truth is when I pulled this engine out of my mustang with the same gears it had one hell of a hard time getting traction I know the 33" tires will make a huge difference but don't want to buy gears until I get a better feel. Anyone have any input on gears. Also want to put in a Locker of some sort in the 44 as the 9 already is posi which should be fun as this is going to be a daily driver.

I like that small block swap looks cool that XJ is a sleeper hahaha awesome. I bet people are surprised how great that inline 6 sounds when you fire it up lol How does it handle at speed probably pulls pretty good. Just looked at all of your guy's builds pretty awesome. Hoping to find some Jeep guys up here in WA to wheel with once she is on the road. Also the wife and kids and I are trying to settle on the name. I am restricted from any names that are currently take by hot brunettes named Angelina Jolie ha but other than that I believe the one with the most votes is Lagertha from Vikings.

Brodie heads, Crank, Cam, bored, shaved basically everything you can minus NOS, Turbo or Charger. Was built by a guy up here in WA who is a legend we like to call the Ford whisperer lol so after the wife nixed the Mustang I said hmmmmmmm well we need a good offered vehicle and she cleared it and here we are.

Don't know what it is going to be exactly after we swapped from a manual to the auto AOD. Will be interesting. I just bought a 1996 for my wife today so she doesn't try to steal mine. But now she wants a lift new rims and tires and some other stuff think I should make her do some of the work.
