What's the best liftgate shock replacement?

I did search with no luck Looking for the best replacement shocks, tried of hitting my head

I bought StrongArm hatch shocks from Amazon...couldn't be happier...

Think they cost around 35 bucks for 2...Make sure you get the right ones for the year of your Cherokee....I don't think they are all the same....

I bought the cheap ones from JCWhitney a few months ago and that was a mistake. The mounts that screw into the tailgate have already bent because they are so flimsy.

I also got mine at autozone. Had them in stock, cost about 25 bucks, and they work perfect. Its a heavy door, will wear any brand out over time, but it was worth the 25 bucks to me.
