You guys inspired me to have some fun and for a tad over $100, I did!

I do alot of shooting and haul around alot of gear to matches and the ranges. I needed something to help hide whats inside.

The false floor photos were what I wanted.

So, I went with a 3 part box system. The front 2 boxes fit on top of the fold down seat sections for ease of removal to haul a few friends around and 1 large box that will stay in the Jeep 24/7 with my "get home setup" (bug out bag, boots & AK with 4 mags)

The large box serves as my rifle box when needed. I can carry 2 AR's, 2 STG556's, 1 AK47 and a Remington 870.

You all pretty much know how to build so I will skip to the photos.

Start up:

I had the idea to bed line the boxes but I suffer from migraines and that was a NO-GO. So I went with Krylon paint.

I finished them up with outdoor carpet that matches my interior carpet inside and on the tops.

Added a light in the rear box as the lid covers the dome light when open.

I cut the removable slats for each rifle for nice tight fit. I can take out the slats to allow me to haul around camping gear also.

I just need to finish them up for the other 2 rifles.

This is how it rides as my daily driver. Get home bag and AK.

The water bottle Koozie is sewn up some and mounted to hold my supressor for the 556 rifles.

Thanks for giving my ideas for my rig guys!

I like, but be VERY CAREFUL! I have my Jeep outfitted with a bug-out bag, survival gear, etc. I do however leave the big boy toys at home. Reason being, it's not worth a break in. That's a lot of hardware, and a lot of money to lose by some dumbass busting a window and removing all your hard spent money. If you just use to transport here and there, then nice work, and excuse my concern. However, if you plan on leaving that in the back at all times, you might think about the risks you're opening yourself up to. Just a thought. Nice fab though regardless!

The kind of beverages that rhyme with steer? Lol

Greg3, those look really nice, and your boxes are fine as well. Lol

I will say though, after going that far for storage especially for your expensive things, you should attach them to the floor and integrate a lock. They could still get stolen but it would slow em down and decrease the chances.

I'll let the imaginations run with what the beverages are. Usually have the fishing boat on the hitch also.

I have been toying with the idea of bolting them all together with bolts and wingnuts from the inside for ease of removal when needed amd making it too hard to remove the boxes all at the same time.

I just use them for transport from A to B. The only thing I leave in 24/7 is my get home bag and the AK. I park the Jeep right up to the tall shrub at the house keeping the rear gate off limits. Plus it is well lit and we have cameras on our house and live right across the street from a police officer that is VERY aware of whats going on. Also we live in a good area....for now...

The Jeep is parked about 100yrds from me when at work and I see it all day long and is right by the employee smoking/break area and has cameras on it. Nothing gets stolen from that area of the parking lot.

Pretty much always looks like this. Have various things tucked away. Cleaning/assorted sprays, winch controller, few different hitches, assorted sizes of bungie cords, tool box, shop towels. And the cardboard is back there to secure my rear tube doors from banging around. Oh and the lug wrench doesn't sit there, haha, it too is also tucked away.

Usually a cooler with some warm beer from the previous weekend, soccer cleats, zip ties, and a couple different hitches. Sometimes my boat battery, wakeboard, surfboard... Pretty random.
