to add them to the roof, you can do it several ways, ge a roof rack and attach it, get a specifically made light bar kit, drill through the stock rack bar or even drill through the roof (NOT RECOMMENDED)

Anyone know if they are brighter than the other style that comes in the kit?
my buddy had a daylighter laying around, and i held it up to see about mounting. looks like i might have to weld something on if the dimensions are the same between the 2 brands of lights.

I have no experience with them but if you read the reviews on the 6" Offroad setup, there is one review from a person who has both and says the original ones are brighter. (The ones that come as a pair with the grill over them)
