Default What tires are these?

Not sure if this is where I should post this...

Been looking for some 30's to match my new 2.5" lift... found these on Craigslist. I talked him down to $450 for the set WITH the wheels. He wasn't around them and had no idea what brand/model tires they were.

Any clue? Look like a good deal for $450?

Moved to Chat.

They look meaty. For $450 seems like a decent deal. What backspacing are the rims?

He wasn't around them when I talked to him yesterday and he had no idea without looking at them. He's at work until 5 so I just want some opinions before I drive 2 hours to get them without any other info from him.

Offset? No idea... what kind of Jeep you think these wheels came from? Any way for me to find out?

They look just like the rims on my 97 sport. I have 31x10.50's and without a spacer they rub the control arms inside when I turn sharply.

Think I'd be alright with the 30x9.5's?

I cant really answer that cause I have no idea how you will be using it or where you are gonna drive. I'm running mine with stock suspension. I just dont turn the wheel real sharp. I don't do any wheeling except for a woods rd for hunting. Granted I don't want it to be this way forever but for now the funds wont allow anything else.

Honestly I would give it a try. The tires look good for 400 bucks. Plus you can buy wheels with more offset real cheap (depending on your taste). Sell the OE wheels and put that money towards a new set if you have a problem with fit and rubbing.

Yeah mines a DD/Weekend fun/Traveler. Nothing serious (for now). I liked how these have wheels with them that will mount right up. I'll use my stockers with the smaller tires for traveling and throw these new ones to go rip **** up on the weekends. Hopefully I won't have many issues because I have a 2.5" lift.

Thanks for the input guys, probably going to snag them tonight and I'll try to throw some pics up for anyone who cares to look.

They are Sigma Mud Claw tires on the Ecco wheels.

Anyone know anything about these tires? They seem pretty beefy... gonna keep my old Uniroyal A/T's around for road travel and throw these bad boys on for weekend fun.
