Default what are these?

well taking my airbox out to put in a spectre CAI i found this extra tube going to the airbox, i got no idea what its for...95xj







and then on my 98 while removing the floor i found this box on the drivers side, dont know what its for....

ok so tube is crank vent and box under seat is air bag controle module?


so i can get rid of this black box under the seat? and put a mini filter on the vent tube?

I think he should be more worried about the lack of floors than what those two things are.

thats what im in the middle of doing....replacing floors and beefing frame...

i just didnt want to break anything i might need later on...building a 1 ton trail beast, anything i dont need on the rig to make it run will be discarded...this is im learning along the way...so i do ask questions that may seem stupid to some but id rather know than not know


but the vent tube is on my DD 95 xj, the rusted floors is on my 98 2 door ton project....2 diff jeeps...

lol ya i know, but it is still a type of frame, but obviously it is a unibody design
