And yes quality is better than quantity. Buddy at school has a new cts lac and has 2 12 mtx thunder****s and my sub sounds so much cleaner for online sub on only 500 watts. It will handle 2000

If you gave a 12w7 a true 2000 rms it would smoke in a couple of minutes. Im not hating on JL though. My temp setup while Im building my box right now is a 12w1v2-4 on 300 watts and my mirrors are useless lol.

They did. That looks hella clean, 6.5s are going in!!

Has anyone ran 6.5s in the front doors?

So Right now I'm lookin at possibly getting these speakers:

FRONT DOORS:
Kicker KS5.2 KS Series 5-1/4" component speaker system

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206KS52...Size%7c6+1%2f2

SOUND BAR:
Kicker KS6.2 KS Series 6-1/2" component speaker system

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206KS62...Size%7c6+1%2f2

How big of a amp y'all think I should get? No sub will be going in, just those speakers and the Sony CD player that's already in it.

I was just checking out this amp. What ya think:

http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Mobil...M4075&tp=35782

The 6.5s have an RMS of 6-75 range with 150 peak watts
The 5.25s have an RMS of 6-65 range with 130 peak watts

The amp states its a 75RMS per channel. So this should work correct? Or am I way off lol?

Yes that says 75rated wrms at 4a ohms per channel. Make sure the speakers aren't 2 ohms cuz if they are you will smoke em. And I run 6.5s in the front doors. All it takes is a little modification and the fit fine. Got pics in ma album.

Alpine deck with Alpine inline Amp that doubles the head unit power. Infinity component 5 1/4" up front. 5 1/4" Rockford Fosgates in the rear.

I have a set of 9 month old Fosgates 5 1/4" speakers I just took out of the front if anyone wants them. Ran 90 new.

Edit* Said kicker for some reason. They're Fosgates

My friend's stereo in his truck is amazing. 2 12s soon to be upgraded to 15s, 2 5-1/4, 2 6x9, 2 6.5s, 2 4x6, and tweeters, all Rockford except the subs (the 15s are RF). One day blasting dubstep in it we were wondering if the windshield was flexing because my vision was blurred. Rolled down the window and it looked the same.
I'm gonna hate myself when I get old and can't hear.

I don't know what jeep was thinking when the designed there stereo system. Every cherokee I've ever been in either had the speakers replaced or they were completely blown.

Seriously. When I bought my 94 only the passenger side speaker worked. Swapped it out for some freebie 5.18s (generic Walmart/no name brand haha) so its time I upgraded them all.
