What parts to snag from Junkyard
So a local pull a part just opened up by me, and has a TON of XJ's in there. Most of them are older, but theres a 97 and a 2000. What can I grab off these that are in high demand and I can sell for a minor profit? Im trying to fund my jeep re-build this way, as insurnce didnt replace any of my damaged aftermarket parts in my wreck. I've already found a 1991 overhead console that I think is worth some $$

If it is a HO grab the head off that thing, i think the junk yards sell em for like 85 bucks, you can re do them and make some good money off that part alone. Prolly enough for a winch.

I know it happened for me,I would look at all the xjs 87-90 and see if it has a 44 in the rear,if they just opened up you may get lucky.I would also look for an ax-15 trany.

The easiest Items to pull off and resell are the front Skid plate if it has it or the tranny skid.
Gas tank skid is good too but can be a PIA.
If you have some time you can pull the NSS and clean it up and resale it also.
But there is a lot you can pull from them. Look on Ebay under the Jeep Cherokee and see what is in high demand. IE people are bidding on them then go pick them up and sell them. 99% of ebay now is retail so anything at a discount will sell well.
I sold a TPS for 10 bucks one day when I was bored and got it for 3 at the JY.

black red or chrome grill and light bezels off the 97+ I'd like to get a spare set to replace my chipped up set... let me know what you'd want for that stuff... seriously
