So while waiting for PB blaster to do its job on some trim bolts I decided to do angry eyes with electrical tape an idea i saw in someones build thread and after putting the photo next to others I see I went a little overboard with the tape haha!! What do you all think lets be honest no hurt feelings here

 

I think you just cut the already small amount of light output in half.

Its a 1980 Olds cutlass cruiser factory had a Chevy 305 was replaced with a 76 455 out of a regency. Its in the process of a floorboard replacement!! just a tow/toy/fishing wagon

 

Haha ROFL So i take it when i go to work tommorow tonight my headlights will be on but i wont be able to see i guess i should trim the tape back some then hahaha

Still not my style, but yes; that should be a little better.

 

To each their own I guess but for me anything that sacrifices functionality for "cool" looks I'm against.

I didn't know so many people didn't like this look I did it to try it out and see if I like it but I don't want my jeep to be a disgrace to this great community!!

 

Many people do like it usually the younger crowd or the same guys that cover their jeeps in monster decals rofl. This is just honesty tho bud I mean you did ask for honesty and IMHO any time I see angry eyes in any car the word "ricer" comes in mind. But don't let my opinion or anybody else's discourage your choice to put angry eyes on your jeep

 

Like i said no hurt feelings haha i see where the ricer thing can come to mind though

OP, if you dig it, go for it! You certainly won't be the only person on this site with the angry eyes, it's your Jeep, make it yours. If we all built our jeeps exactly the same, it'd be a sad, boring world. And who knows, maybe the finished result of your build will look great. I personally think round LED headlights look awful on XJs. However, there's a member here with em on his, and it's one of the baddest, meanest looking XJs I've ever seen.
