Default what goes into this plug?

Found this plug with nothing going to it under my dash. It wires into the main harness. A 94 i6 auto

Might be for an first stage scanner. But not sure.

I couldn't tell you, but i've found that XJs are wired with all possible options for every model.

So you might just get a SE, but you'd still have connectors and wires for things like power locks, windows, etc.

I have a big wad of em stuffed underneath the console in my front passenger seat lol

Oh so my wiring harness might be out of a different edition?
Cause mine is the basic as it gets! lolol manual everything.

Haha, well then yeah, you've probably got a lot of empty plugs. It's not because it's necessarily from a different edition, but they use all the same wiring for every model. So if a Country has a bunch of upgradeable options, your SE will have the same wiring harnesses, but connectors and whatnot will be missing. I guess it just makes production easier and more efficient.

Every time I take an interior panel off in my Jeep I find more connectors that don't go to anything. They are for the extra options, so there are tons in a SE or base model.
