Painting stock rims black?
Just bought a 2001 Black XJ all-stock.
No $$$ for new wheels yet so I figured painting rims would be a good first project.
Anyone out there happy/not happy with their stock rims that they've painted?
Pics would be great!
I've heard Duplicolor is the best way to go...
Thanks!!!

went from gray insets to black using John Deere flat black. Been about a year and it's holding up very well.

I also used jd black but not flat its called blitz. Has a little sheen and they look great totally changed the look of my white 99.
Advise: the better you prepare the better they will last.
Spay even and consistant.
