old dodge van captain chairs from the 80s? Try googling that question - 97 cherokee seats forum or 97 cherokee seat swap forum

ZJ seats bolt onto your XJ sliders.

If your seats are broken or fatazzed just different seats may do the trick.

The ZJ seats are slightly wider than XJ's!

I put 2002 WJ seats in mine. So comfy. This pic is of them in the trunk right when I got back from the junkyard

Take a tape measure with you as you look for other seats. There is only about 1" from the side of the stock drivers side seat to the console & about 3" to the door. Have you tried to re-do the foam in your seats to bring them back to "stock"?

^ Good idea. I use a piece of pool noodle to bolster the bottom cushion 'wings'.

This is usually what happens. Fatazz induced breakage of the aluminum bucket which holds the foam.

Probably not much to do then (maybe band aid it with fiberglass & cloth?). If someone were to make a HD seat pan out of steel it could be a big problem in a crash.
