Looking for an exhaust sytem that has a good tone, priced between 150-200

Anyone have any recommendations?

 

I bought the cheap one from Iron Rock Off Road and love it. If money was no object I alwasy wanted Borla. Borla on the camaros always sounded so nice...

So IRON ROCK OFFROAD has a great deal on one and I did it myself in the driveway.

 

By exhaust system you mean? Finding a header, high flow cat, performance muffler and the correct sized exhaust pipe for 200 is a pretty slim chance. Cut out the old muffler and replace it with a FM40 or 44 and call it good. Or get an APN header, bolt it in and cut out the old muffler and replace it with a glass pack. Those 2 options are in your price range and are emissions legal.

 

Just ordered my apn header seems to be the cheapest and best for you money out there took me a while to find it but I haven't found any bad reviews on them!

Now go get a glasspack from a parts store for $25, cut out your crappy muffler, and replace it with the glasspack!!

 

+1, if you're wheeling you'll just rip a regular muffler off anyway regardless how much you spend.

Ya I'm just weary about the flows that's what I have on my hemi 1500 and they are really quiet all u can really hear is the cai ever sense input the xpipe on sounds like I have supercharger lol

 

Yaaa so i ordered a dynomax catback kitfor 100, it comes with pipes, muffler clamps and hardware, gonna see if i like the sound thenbif i dont ill prob get a flowmaster super 44 or borla muffler...it should come in today so i can test it out
