What's the gnarliest soundin exhaust out there for an xj? I want it to growl.

I have the flow master 40 series with a high flow cat in front of it and it sounds pretty sweet. Just use YouTube to check out some different setups.

if you just cut it after the cat it will sound really growly and deep did that and was surprised by how good it actually sounds

Flowmaster 40 dumped before the rear axle no cat. What I run. Nice deep tone. Flowmaster 44 doesn't sound bad either but not as deep.

I am switching to Magnaflow with a 6 inch resonator before it, the FM 40 sounds like a 4 cylinder ricer at 3000 rpm..... and the Magnaflow is an actual performance muffler, the FM is a restrictive chambered muffler that sounds throaty at idle and doesn't sound too good past that IMO.

-If you go FM go for the Delta Flow 50 series.

Technically not a muffler, therefore illegal, my co-worker got a ticket because that's all he had on his Cherokee(he had hi flow cat too) and the officer said that's not a muffler.
