I'm in need of a new cat back exhaust system on my 99. any suggestions? I don't want loud, just a deeper tone.

 

Check out performance curve in the vendor section. They sell complete cat back setups with your choice of a muffler from there selection. Cheap too. Only $105 +shipping.

LOTS of options out there. Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Cherry Bomb, etc.

There are probably a dozen threads PER WEEK that are started asking the same question...just so you know.

I've got a clip of my exhaust on my sig, I've got a flowmaster 44 cat back from performance curve. There's tons of xj exhaust clips on YouTube.

 

Performance curve doesnt carry Borla. But Magnaflow is pretty much the same style muffler and has a very similar sound... For a LOT cheaper.

I stand corrected. Maybe cuz that's what I want to get but too expensive. Been a fan of Borla when I installed a nice catback on my import back in the days and it actually sounded AWESOME..Deep and no droning noise, not a fart can sound. Been Looking at the magnaflow system just cuz it's all stainless. The Dynomax won't probably last 2 winters here :/
