uhh

I think it's about as self-explanatory as possible.

i'm assuming your jeep has a lsd rear? i think this means if you jack up one side and put the jeep in gear it will still move (the tire on the ground will move it) despite the fact the opposing tire is in the air.

LOL seems obvious but I tried exactly what you said and the airborne wheel just spun. I've heard of XJs coming with lsd but never locking differentials?

Perhaps someone put it there.

It's pretty self-explanatory. If your Cherokee doesn't do exactly what the sticker says, either you have a different rear now or someone put the sticker there.

I'll check the differential. The sticker appears to be stock though; have you ever heard of a XJ coming from the factory with a locker?

How would I test it to make sure it works?

If the clutch(s) is bad, is that reparable or is it not worth it?

I always thought the little tag on the diff telling to use friction modifier meant it had the LSD in it. well both my d35 that came out, and the 8.25 that went in, have this tag and with it jacked up, the tires turn opposite directions... If I powerbrake it, I get two blackmarks though...

Sounds like you already tried by attempting to drive the vehicle off a jack ((?)!).

LSD wheels will rotate the same direction while in the air.

I know that's how it's SUPPOSED to be, but in mud, or while powerbraking, both back tires pull even though when I jack it up they spin opposite directions
