I have a 96 country, black with silver trim. (see avatar)
As of right now the taillights and side marker lights are tinted. Also, the back bumper and bumper caps are black. Now, heres my idea. Paint all the trim and front bumper+caps the same black as the rear bumper. Only leave the fender flares silver, everything else black. I think it will look good. Thoughts?

 

I think it would look pretty cool. You could use bedliner on your trim for a tougher look. And worst case scenario, if you don't like the way the fenders look if you leave them silver, you can always just paint them black to match, then your junk would be pretty much blacked out which would also look pretty sweet.

EDIT: I just realized who you are, I haven't been on CF in awhile, you XJ is coming along very nicely!, I think last time I was on here is was pretty much stock... Keep up the great work!
