Default What do you think I will run in the quarter mile?

What do you guys think I will run ?! I am doing it spring break right after I turn 18. I am thinking 16.0-16.3ish @ 85 mph.... My $20 iPhone app dynolicious says 0-60 in 7.7 and 1/4 mile in 15.8 @ 85. Thats after 20 or so thorough runs on a closed airport runway.... :P

Stock 3600 lb 4wd XJ does 16.5 @ 83 and 0-60 in 8.4 according to car and driver comparo....

I have cold air intake, high flow cat, fm 40, 2 1/2 Inch piping the whole way, custom down pipe, jet stage two, jet 180 degree t stat, and an Air Raid tbs to top it off. So 210-215 hp. I weigh 3199 lbs with tow package and 2wd.

-Plan on getting BBk throttle body and Pacesetter or obx racing header....

lulz. If you wanted to run down the drag strip doing 16's, you should have opted for a v6 mustang.

Because discussing the removal of a Catalytic converter is strictly not allowed on this forum. In any form.

I was thinking more low-mid 16s but I will post the timeslip, our Cherokees should have pretty good 60' times.

Oh gotcha, but it also depends on condition and miles. I beat my buddy's 4wd 1999 Cherokee Sport with Flowmaster 40 and Magnaflow high flow cat when my 1999 2wd Cherokee was stock with a nearly clogged cat(threw a P0430 code the next week). I had bought my XJ a week before the race and we was so pissed off haha, he sold it a month later and I think he did it because I beat him....

Well it did have rust issues since it was in Illinois, my XJ was garaged by previous owner and meticulously maintained(he is a professor at local college).

-we both had 131k miles at the time and are both auto, I have tow package which adds a lot of weight.

Beat him by a car length to 60, we both weren't expecting that.

He has a 1995 5 speed manual 4.0 4wd with 155k miles now, I am STILL faster somehow. He cut it at the downpipe and so it's ridiculously loud, gets looks from cops but he drives slow...

Beat my other friends 1995 automatic 4.0 with 237k miles by a bumper to 70 when I was stock, but he had a passenger and I didn't and his trans skips at 50 mph cruse. Mine seems to have more low end torque then his.
