ok im wanting to do a cheap(ish) lift for my xj what do you think of this.

OME 3" front coils $75

OME fixed lower control arms $99

bastered pack $s10 springs

either rc8000 or rc9000 shocks.

do you guys think it would be a good start that i could build on? latter on i could go with a adjustable trac bar maybe new lcas a sye and a bb on top. and be at 4.5-5" so what do you think of my idea for a cheap lift?

 

That would be a good start to a budget lift that you can build on. As an alternative, you can also go with Ford F150 coils and the bastard pack. The F150 coils will net you 4-4.5 inches up front and depending on how you build the leaf pack, anywhere from 3-5.5 inches in the back. Along with longer shocks and an adjustable track bar and you will have a decent set up.

 

yeah i was going to go that way untill i found out the ome coils are only $75 and the ome stuff is supposed to be real nice. i forgot to mention sway bar discos in there. im just not sure what kind. either make my own or rough country most likely.
