Hey guys,

So, I have been SEARCHING and SEARCHING for the right Jeep to come up. I've been scouring through Craigslist and Autotrader several times a day for the last week or two trying to find the right deal.

Well, tonight may be the one and I wanted your guys opinion.

I went to Publix tonight, and as I was walking out, I saw a nice red Cherokee. I walked over to my car, and she happened to pull up next to me. Well, she wanted to clean my lenses off my car on the Mazda. I told her not right now, but I was looking to buy that EXACT Jeep that she has. Well sure enough, her response was, "I'm looking to sell that exact Jeep." LOL! So she said drive it around the block and tell me what you think. Haha! OK! I will drive. So I took it around the parking lot, and it felt GREAT.

It's a 95' red Cherokee. It has 129,000 miles and is an automatic (unfortunately - rather have manual ). The A/C isn't working. But she wants $1,500 for it.

I'm thinking if I offer her $1,000, she may very well take it.

So what do you guys think? Is that to low of an offer? What do ya think of this deal? Any suggestions/opinions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Buy it even at the asking price. Great deal! I'd prob offer $1,300 though so you don't offend her with too low of a price. But that's just me, if you can get it for $1,000, even better

Well, she's firm at $1,500. So if its still available by next week, I'll more then likely buy it. Gotta give it a good go-through first though. Didn't pop the hood or anything yet.
