Default What do I have

Folks I am super new to jeeps and zj, wj and other two letters to describe a kind of jeep is getting me confused, of course that does not take a lot. I just bought a 1996 grand cherokee larado, 5.2 v-8, all wheel drive and would sure like to get more informed on how to talk about it, like what kind of rear diff (suspose to have a 44a) and a dana 30 on the front. and what would its two letter be. Thanks for the help.

Welcome granps. (just kidding your probably younger than I am.) Here is a site, that if you fill out the VIN, and the rest. Asking for your build sheet. They will e-mail you back (2-3 days) Telling you exactly what you have. http://www.jeep.com/wccsapp/universa...ull&category=U
