performance mods are a pretty big waste of money imo. your jeep will never never be fast, nor was it meant to be. (imo)

May aswell build it more capable offroad, I think you will be happier with the results

keep in mind you will lose gas mileage if you lift it.
I would do upgrade injectors
do a header .high flow-cat and a catback exhaust.... with new o2 sensors
upgrade your head lights so you can see at night...
also a Set of offroad/fog lights wouldn.t hurt also...
get front tow hooks or recovery points, and a tow hitch for a rear recovery point
get a front. t-case and gas tank skid...if your Jeep does have these..
then with the money left over get a small lift... I hope I helped you out....
also fyi Just because perforamce mods might not make your Jeep faster.. but it will improve your gas mileage
What year is your Jeep

what ^he said... add 63mm tb... k&n filter... keep an eye open for 4.10 axles on cl and other sites... that way when the time comes to lift it, you're not down to 10mpg.
btw, because of those performance mods, i can give most ricers run for their money with 4.5" lift and 31s.
