I always loved your Cherokee so much. It was sad to see it go.

Paid $1000, has plenty of small issues. Currently have idler pulley and serpentine belt I need to put on tomorrow. Rockers are a rusty mess. Scratch that, lots of rust everywhere. But even with the rust, mismatched tires, and the lift supports being shot resulting in the hatch trying to decapitate me, I love this Jeep. Nothing like owning a Cherokee. It has 180,000 miles and it's a 2000 classic.

I paid $950 for my 98 with 172K miles on the clock. New floor pans and rocker panels and it was inspectable.

Now a few more bucks and I finally got the stance I want. Still waiting for lockers, winch and some other goodies.

Paid 4K for my '99, which is steep around these parts. But I'd just totalled my previous '99, and this one had some good stuff going for it.

ZERO rust. Anywhere. Not one flake.
All new AC system
Trucklites
Super clean interior
33X12.5 MTZs which I traded for a G19
15X8 soft8s
OrFab front bumper

Day 1

I was still iffy about the price I paid, until I went to rebuild the front end. Control arms, steering, hubs, every nut and bolt slid out like butter. Money well spent.

The Golden Badger today.

I drive it every day, and everywhere.

First post!

Just picked up a 99 XJ Sport with 131500 miles. Paid £680 and had to put £700 in straight away.

Still a few little niggles - both front electric windows don't work, boot struts are weak, drivers door don't lock - but I love it.

Radio antenna is snapped off also!

Nice! Always love those wheels, especially blacked out with the chrome caps, very cool.

Not me, problem getting them cheap is patience and the willingness to fix some rust. As long as the unibody is solid, I'll go for it.

Not over here (Ireland). Cherokee's are quite rare. Most were driven to death and scrapped. I rarely see one on the roads. Plenty of Grand Cherokee's but XJ's are rare, Wagoneers are virtually non-existent.

Most for sale are for parts only. Ebay is usually quite good for high mileage models that would need a lot of work.

I got mine from a dealer who had an XJ and a Grand Cherokee. He wanted £1450, I got it for £680.
