Hey brasscatz I just installed the same tune-up on my 98 SE And found that afterward It did feel like it had a slight mis in it as well. I was wondering how you wired in your baja's since I have the same lights in my garage and have been wanting to put them in for a long time now, They are pretty easy but was wondering what you used to ground the lights.

I don't think you'll find that eroneous bump feel significant. You can watch it over time to see is it becomes more pronounced. I never expected the straight 6 to be smooth as silk at idle, my carburated 72 Ford picup six (yes I was lost but now I'm found) was never pure smooth. You could consider an accel coil in the future to go with the rest of your ignition package. I have had good times with the accel products, trust the results (and have run some hard spark conditions in road and circle track racers), and they look pretty. Good that is starts well for you, I believe you rotated 1 degree in the advance direction, you could always try another degree or leave well enough alone. As for the relay, here Cdn Tire stores have 30amp relays running about $12 w/tax. I use them a lot as one of my most common breakdowns is electrical related to rotted wiring systems, I carry a couple leads prepared in the tool box for jumping problematic systems, (ex. paperclip to get my headlites back on), these systems never seem to fail in the dry warm comfort of your garage, hence I have often run a fresh circuit and used relays to keep the big amps under control and reduce the load on my switch gear. As power accessories are added you could make additional use of aftermarket relays.
No, I don't lick fish.

Washed it... and polished the chrome and aluminum... realized I'm wheeling on passenger car tires.... that's right... not even LT street tires... CAR street tires... makes me feel even less bad about getting stuck. But those car tires have to go. Also tried to picture waggy chrome trim around the windows and taillights... hmm....

kinda put mine up for sell again.i love this thing but we got two cars a jeep and my bike so i think im gona put a little money in the bike .we will see what happens.if the guy that wants it now dont come through i make take it as a sign and keep it
Added some 2" blocks to the 4.5" RC lift that the previous owner had put on. Then went and did some "soft spot" checking while I was underneath her, next thing I know I find myself pushing my finger through the floor pan under the passenger seat! O the fun!
.... One more project for tomorrow.. O and I threw on some nerf bard running boards so my kids can actually climb in by themselves...

I actually had some spare wire left over from my O2 sensor splice and I routed both grounds to the bolt that holds my passenger side front tow hook. I'll snap a pic of it soon and show you. I ran the other wires through my grill and through the firewall where my hood release cable goes through. I had barely enough power wire to make it, but plenty of the other. The only stuff I had to remove from the front to mount and run wiring was the skid plate underneath to give me access to the back of my bumper, and the grill and headlight bezels. Easier than I thought, but time consuming because I wanted to do it right.
