Yeah, that's not a bad price. I just replaced mine and had to jack the engine up a few inches just to get the old one out.

got my xj lifted. 3" rough country suspension lift. Not bad for my first lift. It handles so much better than my 14 year old stock suspension.

You only did one side? I'm a "do it in pairs" kind of guy. I like to double my pleasure/pain to insure consistency and confidence in equipment. I know, I've heard a million times "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but with my luck the second item nearly always fails/complains shortly after the first is serviced - it's another mysterious Jeep thing I guess.

Please do me a flavor, Japple650, go see if your 1 1/8" socket fits over the passenger side lower b/j nut, then send me your result via a PM?

Bought some lights off a friend yesterday and I'm gonna install everything today and tomorrow. I got some 100w Xenon/Krypton H3 bulbs for my offroad lights and they're BRIGHT, two white LED strips with 3M adhesive on them to accent my interior a little (don't know exactly where i'm putting them yet but they're pretty bright too. I also got a pair of neon halo ring type lights that are white, I might use them to accent my newly finished REAL projector headlight retrofitted housings. I got all the stuff off him for $10, If I got this stuff at pepboys, I'd easily be paying close to $50. He was trying to clean his garage out and he just gave the stuff to me and asked me to make an offer

I remember when I first put my 3 inch lift on back in october of last year. Its definitely worth busting your ***** lol. Can't wait to see some 31s under your rig! I rolled on some 215s until I could afford new tires, I have to say I do miss the gas mileage.

Yea I hear ya last fall I mad a trip out of town and I was 90 miles from the nearest place of help if you could call it that, was just a hotel/restaurant and a tire shop and I lost my bolt holding my track bar in place, I won't tell you how I jerry rigged it. Most people here probably don't want to know. Man that was a miserable trip after that I made it 50 miles from the service station and ran out after only having traveled a 120 miles, ouch, not all bad minus the really crappy gas milage I did have 120 gallons of more fuel in an external tank but thankfully the tire shop was able to get my track bar reinstalled... hmm.. is that the right term...

Pull the winter tires from the HKZJ last night (daughter arrived home with one flat anyway, how can fate have you pick up 3/8 bolt thru the tread?will try to boot it monday), her summer rubber is on, this morning - howling wind and snow. Just when the bike is ready for a test spin.
