I'd like to find a set of those wheels you have there or the ones that look similar. I have factory steel wheels on mine and though they are okay, ones like yours would make it look better.
Found a gunmetal set with used Ko2's on them for 115.00 usd in Lenexa Kansas
Hoping to put the AT's on those though I am tempted to use the 17" soft 8, offset steelies.
The studded winters are on the other aluminum set.
Best of luck.
I am trying to find the stock 16" Ultrastar wheels for the XJ Freedom. Looks quite rare. :/
I still want them,
One gorgeous XJ Freedom, there.
Jeep built 2-3 times as many 60th anniversary models (6000) than they did Freedoms (2830).
I found a set of ICON 16's locally but two were painted black. He asked 150 obo. I am thinking 20 each.

That's a good pricing depending on condition! Nice find.
I will eventually put a headlight harness kit in along with some factory headlights or maybe one day some of those Hella lamps that look like factory.
I'm not a fan of the look of LED headlights. I like the OEM look.
If the headlight harness kit provides the brightness I need, I'll just run regular Sylvania lamps.
Your Jeep looks good.
Agree 100%
Ours came with 35w H4 projectors.
At 347k I finally added the headlight relay harness. Zero difference that we can see.
The PO (GOMER) installed them backwards.. so I got that handled while inserting the relays. Of course he extended the power wire putting the fuse 5 feet from the battery.
sheesh. Hope I am done chasing that wannabee's efforts Morimoto

Took my longest test drive today. Still got some bugs to work out, have a slight vibration at about 60 and steering is feels heavy and keeps you on your toes. Have been making adjustments in steering as I go. Realized my wheelbase was 99 1/2” and should be 101.4” After pushing the front axle 2” forward and going bit castor positive has made a great improvement.

The headlight relay harness didn't make any difference in light output? I was thinking I would use one for my factory headlights as I have read that they do improve the output. If they don't do anything, I'll stick with the OEM wiring.

People say it does. Want to say they report a 30% increase with it.
Most people do it cause it is supposed to increase the light output.
The added bonus is that it also takes stress off the factory wiring which is a weak point.
I did it cause it takes the stress off the factory wiring.
And the bonus is, supposedly, that it increases light output.
LOL.
I paired it with Wagner BriteLite versions of the stock headlights.
Now whether light output did increase or not don't really care.
Don't really have a problem with that so......

I'll probably do it for the reason you say; takes the load off the light switch/factory wiring. When I owned my '88, we drove it all those years and never felt like the lights weren't bright enough. I just learned about this issue when I joined this forum, lol.
I'll probably do it while I have the front grill surround, bumper and all that off. And when I change out the crappy battery cables that are on it currently.
No way I'm parting it out. Will drive it till she falls apart. The rims came with it. The quarter windows and smokers windows took me a while to find. You can also use Liberty 16 in wheels.
Is the camshaft stock? Are you adding the roller rockers as an improvement in the valve train but not necessarily to increase HP output?
My XJ has 200K on it and I will eventually rebuild it. My plan is to build it in factory configuration so I don't have to mess with PCM programming or whatever all that computer tuning stuff is. However, I would like to make some improvements in the build process and it seems like roller rockers might be a good idea.
Back when I was young, in the stone age, I built small block Chevy's. I almost always put roller rockers in them along with forged pistons.
Camshaft is stock. And yes main purpose was to improve the performance of the valvetrain and to reduce wear and heat. Also based on my research I should gain some HP over the stock rockers, but really all I care about is making this motor last a good bit. If my knocking 275K mile motor can still run, I'm sure this will last me a while. All internals are in great shape too, my friends a Jeep guy and hand picked this motor for me.
Went to a junkyard to get a few body panels from a 2000 that is the same color as mine. My fender, header panel, and hood on mine were painted by the PO some weird silver color and it has always bothered me. Also scored a set of turbine wheels from the same place. They even pulled everything for me. Win win

Very nice. my header panel was broken so I used it as a learning opportunity to do some fiberglass repair. It turned out great. You cannot tell it was repaired. I need a right front fender! That's cool that you got the stuff in the right color. I bought a rear hatch my last JY visit but it's dark blue and my XJ is Gunmetal Pearl.
But I painted my header panel, headlight bezels, front bumper ( was same color as yours), bumper caps and grill with my $10 HF gun (which I got for $8) and some paint from Automotive Touch up and it turned out good enough that I'm going to paint the hatch the same way.
