What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Put my Lisle funnel in place. There was a few bugs and whatnot in the anti-freeze I drained out of the Jeep in the drain pan. Just put it in last year. I swap mine out every other year. So I went to the Napa and got a couple of those paper paint funnels. Fit perfectly in the Lisle funnel. There were a few more bugs in there then I thought. Filled it as much as I could not running, go to start the Jeep,
I forgot to mention the longer cable on the fan actual worked out. Tucked it more behind the headlight and found a hole over there, the connector on the harness has one of those body plugs, to secure it in.

I run my XJ constantly the electric fan never kicks on, it runs a constant 195/ 200 degrees , I've read that they wont kick on till 220, I don't know ! I did test the fan it does work .
I just signed up to this forum yesterday. My dad recently gave me his old 95 ZJ 4.0 I6 so I’ve been doing quite a bit of tuning everything up since I got it. Started out with replacing the thermostat because it had an overheating problem, and that fixed that. Then I moved on to new front and rear shocks. It had a rough idle so I cleaned the hell out of the throttle body and replaced IAC valve and TPS. Put new CCV valve and breather elbows in with new grommets and inspected all vacuum lines for leaks. That fixed the idle issues. Yesterday I upgraded the injectors to 4 ports and changed the fuel filter. It runs really smooth now. My dad replaced the spark plugs and wires just before he handed it over to me. I’m new to this whole Jeep world so I welcome all of you more experienced guys advice!

Got off work yesterday about 3. Decided to see what I could knock out on the XJ before Saturday. I got the THOR intake, Banks cat back exhaust, MORE motor mounts and a track bar relocation bracket installed.

Just looked up that THOR intake and it looks pretty sick. I think I want one as I’m just running the stock intake right now, but it looks like I’ll have to wait until July to get it since it’s not available for the ZJ yet.

It's not really for lowering it as it is for moving the mounting location more towards the driver side. I put new up country springs and a Teraflex budget boost on. That alone, pulled my axle to the driver side. This little bracket, allows me to reposition my axle without an adjustable track bar. I don't plan on off roading anytime soon with this thing as it's my road vehicle.

(Keeping my sway bars. I even have stiffer nitrogen shocks. Plus it helps a lot that I don't drive like a racecar driver.)

My new 2002 Grand got new rotors, pads, and calipers today. It started grinding when I was almost to work on Wednesday. Had to drive it home, and drove it to NAPA this morning to get parts, making good use of downshifting to take it easy on the rotor. Not because I thought ti was salvageable, but I didn't want anything breaking worse on me.
I knew the passenger side caliper was dragging, but I was hopping to get to it before the rotor got trashed. Pads were fine on the outer side. Nothing left of the inner.
After core charge and NAPA's brake special this month ($75 rebate), it's about $240 in parts for their mid-grade stuff. That includes the hoses that my son forgot to install, and two cans of brake cleaner. Not too bad.
I need to do the hubs, and probably the inner axles too, so we'll get the hoses in when I do that in a few weeks.
