Cleaned the IAC? Tested TPS yet?

After 3 years of ownership, a tune up wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

I haven’t done any of that yet I had two different mechanics tell me nothing was wrong and the third one tell me my starter need replaced so I replace that then tells me its the alternator replaced that then output speed sensor & cat converter, then he says it’s my battery which is bull cause I just got that battery in February so it was at the point I said screw it and started doing my own research & repairs which is why I bought the PCM but you know a tune up is probably not a bad idea at this point either I can’t remember if I ever even bother to do one since I bought it

Thank you for the picture of where and how you positioned the relays. I have to get my harness in one of these days. Haven't even looked at where I might put the relays but thinking I will do it like you did.

Well, got the other side done. Ive had to cut leaf spring before, but never a shackle. That was fun.

Then i pulled the nose and flares off. Did some fitting work so the repop header panel would line up nicer, then got going on the fender chopping.

Oh! And i found a spare key!

Default I tried to make it purdy

I pulled the front diff cover off because it was leaking. So I figured I'd paint it to match the jeep...well that didn't turn out as I planned. I tried using dupli-color paint match...that's not even close.

I called dupli-color and they are sending me another can for free. They claimed that I sprayed it too close, too many coats, the humidity is too high...blah ba blah...Just for kicks I just put another coat on in a less humid area and sprayed at the recommended distance. We shall see when it dries, it looks good when its wet.

Default Cleaning & Prep Work for ZJ rear disc swap !!!

No big hurry today. Waiting for the correct axle bearings! Anyways I removed the studs from the axle tubes. Cleaned up both ends. Finished cleaning the backing plates and assembled the emergency brake parts. Replaced the studs in the axles. Started cleaning up the differential cover. Then I quit early, too hot !!! My bearings are suppose to be here on Thursday. I'll have everything ready to go by then. Just have to mount the backing plates and finish assembly of the caliper. May try to pull a marathon on Thursday and try to get it put back together.

What did you do to your Cherokee today?-photo510.jpgWhat did you do to your Cherokee today?-photo125.jpg this melted yesterday and cut the cat out today, going tomorrow morning for replacement, but he charges the same if I remove it or he does so I figured I'd get the money in scrap. Not sure why fuses keep melting on my alternator. It's done it 3 times with 2 different alternators. I never had a problem with the stock wiring. Hooked the two ends of the wires together so I could get it around till I get another fuse holder. Now the alternator isn't even charging anymore it seems like. I can't win with this pile.

What year Jeep is this? Reason I ask is I thought I read somewhere that Jeep used to use a mega type fuse in front of the fuse box in some of the older Jeeps. They were having problems of some sorts and that is when the fusible link replaced the mega fuse. Supposedly solve that problem. No idea what the actual problem was though.
