What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Just a rebuild... It had a cracked head when I got it but was using very little coolant, ran fine and was not mixing fluids. But after using it about a year and a half it started to miss and sucked all the coolant in one off road trip so it was time to just tear it down and do it right.
So I did get it all together and fired up yesterday but still can't drive it. Sitting through this last dry hot desert summer all the internal O rings where the injectors are pressed together dried up and shrunk and are all leaking like crazy. Looks like new injector time. Bummer...

Thanks. I am 59. Figure I have about another 10 years of being able to drive without being a danger to myself or others. Hopefully will be smart enough to take myself off the road. Highly doubtful though. If I do I am going to soak some young kid for every dollar I can for the Jeep. LOL. If I die unexpectedly I am going to be buried in her. LOL.
Glad you chimed in. You might just be the person to help me with something. So I saw your OHC switch panels. Awesome by the way. When I first saw them I wished I needed a place for extra switches just to get rid of the garage door opener section that is of no use to me. So with the heated seats I have to lose my ashtray. Not happy about that. Can one be made to accommodate the heated seat switches that would go up there? Pretty sure the part I circled comes out of the rest. About an 1 1/4" wide and 2 1/4" long. Assuming a custom job would cost big bucks though.

Ralph I'll be 62 in a couple of weeks, so I know how that goes. My 01 Limited came with heated seats from the factory. To accommodate the no ashtray issue, I just picked up one of those that fit the console cupholder. Works perfect, and still have the front cup holder for coffee. PepBoys or any parts store should have them.

So I had to go to the Jeep Dealership today to make a delivery. So I decided to pick my guys brain. Turns out he is pretty sure the heated seat elements are actually part of the seat. Which might explain why I could not find them in my '00 parts catalog and can't find them online anywhere. Was thinking they would just be elements that I could remove and put in my seats. Will find out next spring when I take them apart.

Yeah, I don't know of any "true" 35's, like you said, may be one, but eff that, go with what you can. The size difference is minimal. BTW this is the first time I actually bought ceramic beads, I've run nothing but airsofts up until now. So I'll be keeping you guys updated with my thoughts as I'm able.
And, yeah, killer deal. I really needed that right now, been a bad year.

Got them on amazon for a decent price, and even have enough for a full size spare.
I pulled and then took a million shots of the steering shaft...
Apparently it's an "upgrade" for a late '80s Blazer (?) I'm not a GM guy, so I don't know, but the guy seems pretty keen on it. He wants to make sure it fits, so I'm going to meet halfway.
Had two bites on my rear axle assembly, but utahns don't know how to haggle, apparently and they never countered my price, since they didn't offer. My ad says to make an offer on what part they want, but @#$! if anyone has actually ever done that.

Yeah, I've had that damn headliner out for more than a year, with the sound bar barely hanging there. Need to get 'er done, but there are so many other things that are more fun to work on!

I replaced my Autopal E-code housings last night with some new, old-stock Bosch 0301019100 E-code housings I found on ebay for $50/pair. They're a major upgrade, with the typical euro sharp cutoff, but the odd thing is that they actually have DOT designations on the lens. That's the first time I've seen that on any E-code H4 housing.
I'll take some pics later.

The airsoft bbs have been working great though.
ETA: In all fairness, those Nankangs were out of round... so honestly, I really can't say I gave 'em a fair shake. The airsoft BBs, however, are easier to install and remove. The one thing I did notice that I didn't like about the ceramic beads was that they have a tendancy to stick to the inside of the tire at the sign of a hint of moisture. So watch out for that. Airsoft BBs, don't seem to be effected by small amounts of moisture.
...such as?
