Absolutely gorgeous

There couple things that I have done that I felt it might help to start a thread. One was installing factory fog lights in my '00 that did not come with them. Most of the info was out there but scattered about. Thought might not be a bad idea to put it all in one place.

The other was my sound deadening project. Plenty of info out there. Again scattered all over the internet. Everybody did it different or had different opinions. No right or wrong way to do it. So I figured I would document what I did. Figure if nothing else it could serve as an example of what not to do.

Also going to do one about my putting an '99 overhead console in my '00. The couple things that were not plug and play and other couple insights I have from doing the job.
All of that stuff is easily copied and pasted into your build thread. Especially if you're on a PC. Just click "edit" on your post, ctrl+a, make sure your build thread is open in another tab or window, then click in the post field on your new build thread, ctrl+v and then submit... easy peasy.

Build threads aren't always "BUILD" threads... it's more like an automotive journal. It's nice to see variety in those sections so... if you're waiting for more interest, well... I think you have plenty!

Yep your right Basslicks. It’s more like a journal. When the wife asks what I’m typing, I always tell her it’s my Jeep blog.

So don't expect any positive results but I pulled off the Napa 1085 filter, bought a Napa 21085 and dumped a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in. I know I should do the soak instead but it has been a long year and I just want to finish up with the Jeep for the year and be done. Drove it for 60 miles and will try to do as much driving I can before I change the oil in the next few days. Washed the Jeep today. Also hit everything with some Turtle Wax Trim Restorer and got the tires blackened. RainX'ed all the outside windows. Tomorrow compound and 2 coats of wax. Hopefully.

I was going to change the arm bushings in the front axle tonight since I have been getting a front end clunk. But once I pulled the arms off, I saw like new bushings. No cracks or anything. So not that. All the other arm bushings are new. Moved on to the track bar bolts. They were tight but I could still get a 1/4 - 1/2 turn out of them. So hoping that was the clunk. Checking all the arm bolts next. Only things that havent been replaced are the wheel bearings and ball joints.

That’s a funny email address for someone named Ella. Looks like a phishing attempt.
That was my reaction. Thinking a Moderator needs to shut that down.(?)

I got a PM with something similar, asking me to do a review for an OBD2 scanner for them.

Trash it and carry on.

In the future, just report it or send pm's to either myself or any of the other mods, and we'll get after it. Thanks.

Not that you can tell from my crappy pictures but the outside is now all nice and shiny. Well as shiny as it will get.
