Rear bumper shield for 96 Cherokee arrived (stupid nasty little strip of plastic for about $65 !!), still waiting the 4 threaded clips. maybe Thursday for them.

Bolts w/ 15 mm hex head and machine treads no longer serviced by Jeep, gotta find some of those at a standard hardware place...rest of the rear bumper project ready to go.

Thanks, to the folks who helped with advice..

Actually last Thursday and Friday but.. Sway bar end links, front axle u-joints, oil sending unit, oil change, track bar, and stabilizer. My wrench slipped taking off the filter, so ya of course I took out the oil sending unit lol. I did not take many pics as I was drinking and sweating and cursin lmao. I got lucky and the hubs were still in good shape, and came off easy.

Blew the lower radiator HOSE, DANGIT, HOSE!!!! Luckily, I wasn't far from home so it wasn't hardly warmed up when it happened. Just leaked a lot. Got home with no trouble and I'll replace it in the morning.

It won't last!!!!

Did you buy that bottle new? Many times they have a lifetime warrantee. I used to use a Sharpie and write the date on them before I went open system.

So the mistress is showing signs of trouble... Only a matter of time. Feels like it missing or struggling for fuel at crushing speeds, when I stomp on it, it goes back to normal acceleration. Might need to check out the TB. Just hope it's not FP.

steal it or just brake in and steal something?! Either way that's messed up! I've actually went out to go to work in mine before and the door was left at a crack, but everything was there. Sad thing was I may have not shut it good the night before! But I certainly didn't leave the center console open, so it was at least tampered with.

Decided to repaint the body moldings on our 99 XJ
Been two years since the Jeep was painted and I never liked the fact that the paint shop decided to “paint” the side moldings. 2 years later and its all peeling off. Got out in the hot Florida sun and sanded all of the moldings free of all paint. Went over to Advance Auto and bought a couple of cans of black bumper spray.
Carefully sprayed them and in the hot sun they dried almost to touch in a few minutes. Got lots of praise from the family for finally taking on this task. I should have done it in Feb when the temperature was in the 60’s. Looks great and she’s ready for her new owner. Going up for sale tomorrow in Craigslist. Had lots of fun with her, but now its time to move on. 167K miles new everything, radiator, water pump, fresh tune up , oil change, Ice cold A/C, newer tires, no rust 20% tinted windows, $3500 OBO.
