Installed my Rusty's front bumper and removed passenger side door bump molding, bondo'd holes and painted.

Did the ole old engine out and newer engine in thing. This was not a fun day! Those two torx head bolts on top of the transmission are a pain. Do not want to do that again anytime soon but, have to say she is purring like a kitten now and quite as a church mouse as compared to the knockin, piston slappin noise she was makin.

Fought that battle before. Hopefully you replaced with hex head bolts. I wanna kick the engineers in the ***** who made that decision. Metric, metric, everywhere until we got to the hardest damn spot to access.

I put mine back in. Easy peasy, when done the proper way. Use lots of extensions and a trans jack, and Bob's your uncle...

Worked on my hybrid 231j/c, after fighting snaprings with terrible snap ring pliers, i finally got to the re assembly stage

All in all thes getting these:
-np241c 6pinion planetary and long 27 spline input shaft
-np231c 1.25" wide chain and gears
-AA sye

All the internal were to my suprise in strangly good shape.

Well after nearly 4 years I took the snow plow off and said goodbye to my Jeep. It did me good with what I paid for her and what I had into her I made $1000 when I sold her. Buy cheap sell high. So no longer having a Jeep I may be signing off this site.
