Turned my 96 country with 94,687 miles into my daily driver. I was very happy to handover the keys from my previous dd (95 corolla 220k) to my daughter. Her responce, "how come i dont get one of your Cherokees". The other cherokee is a 89 trail rig with 192k.
It finally snowed in Dallas, TX today! It's kind of a big deal here. Haha. After work, I took her out and made my own roadway because Texans don't know how to drive in bad weather so it's cool if you want to drive off the highway and explore a different route without getting questioned. Wish I had someone to take video or pics of all the fun. Here's the aftermath.
Right now on average I have 3 feet of snow in the yard, some of the drifts are over 5' high and the bank from clearing the driveway is almost too high for the snow blower to throw the snow over It has been a long time since we have gotten this much snow. Right now driving off road is a distant dream
Changed the spark plugs and wires today. Much needed as you can see from the picture. That spark plug was the worst and the 6th one back. The PO obviously hadn't changed them in a long *** time. Lol

Got about 8 recoverys under my belt today with the xj. One even being a semi!( see pic below) poor guy just couldn't get any traction on the ice in dfw today. I was all over the place pulling him but I pulled him about an 1/8 mile until he could get traction.
Also, my l&l winch bumper folded like a taco on one pull today. Granted my rear was attached to a tree while I tried to pull a semi truck trailer back up onto the road but dang, I'm making my next bumper and it will be 1/4"

I know it's not a lot of snow, but 3-4" of snow is like he end of the world here in Texas! People clear the shelves at grocery stores and schools and businesses close. It's ridiculous. I used to live in Boise, ID and we would go to school if the snow was to our necks so I understand how unexciting it looks by the pictures I posted. It was a lot of fun to get a change of scenery though since I've been here for 14 years.

Kudos to you man! There was a special broadcast on 4 guys and their jeeps pulling semi's out of trouble here in Dallas during our winter storm. It was cool to see that the jeep community was pulling more trucks out of trouble than the city help.
