my steering stabilizer came loose on the drag link side and slid up the pitman arm and prevented me from turning to the left..that was a fun drive back to work from lunch.

fixed it after my shift didnt have my tools on me when it happened, i almost always have a c-wrench and a multitool on me but they were left at a project i was working on :/

It's one of the reasons why I always carry a tool box with everything I would need to fix any brake downs

I laugh because I have at least 300 zip ties in my YJ at all times, of varying sizes and strengths

I keep a few of the big *** band ties we use on flex duct work. About 3 feet long and strong as hell.

You guys ever heard of zip ties as a coil compressor? Scary sh**.

I attempted to put my new 231 in my xj today by myself. I have deemed that as an impossible task as it fell on my chest multiple times. I gave up.
Hopefully my brother can help me soon.

Mounted my rear bumper from the old xj on to the new one. Fixed a few more electrical issues

I attached a tow strap to it and once attached a chevy 1500 with 6 inch lift and 35s to it, once a 1978 ford f-100, and 3 times a 2008 Ford F-150. Broke the strap twice. Got the jeep muddy as hell and I'm pissed off.

Zip ties are cheap fix alls most of the time, then you get days like I had today. When I finished wiring up my fog lights I went to tie the wires in place and make things neat and every zip tie I tried broke. Finally I gave up and just used twist ties till it warms up again, it was -40 with the wind chill today according to my home weather station
