Got one of my hd offroad engineering no lift shackle relocation brackets in. The other one I'm not so sure about. I think I'm going to have to pull the filler tubes out so I can grind the shackle hanger out, which I'm really not excited about.

I was nervous working around them but I got it done without pulling them. I taped some rags to them so if I nicked it it wouldn't get straight to the tube.

Went to try and figure out what's wrong with my tcase. Adjusted the linkage and put it in 2wd while under it. Got in and tried to pull out to go wash it off. Went about a foot and heard a pop, look down and the shifter (case) moved back, and I wasn't moving anymore. Tried to put it back in 2wd and and it started grinding and would go in, trued moving the shifter back towards 4hi and got more grinding. I out the trans in neutral and pushed it back in its spot. **** **** **** **** ****...

Is this the first attempt after the SYE kit went in? There are known issues with the shift forks.Originally Posted by DieselD

Just did this to my buddy's stock cherokee. I told him I wanted to practice before I did mine haha
Yes, we're going to grind it smooth and paint it.

Dunno. But I can tell you that you get what you pay for when you buy dirt cheap stuff at Walmart.Originally Posted by HS00XJ
