What did you do to your Cherokee today?
I have decided my '98 that I picked up for parts is too good to tear apart. I'm doing the head gasket and have been pulling together the body parts to fix the damage. So far I have the header, and today I found and pulled the LF fender, inner fender and fender flare from a junk yard find. Still need to find a good bumper and LF end cap.

Popped the hood and looked at what needs to come off to pull the block out, then it started raining and my dad needed a hand doing a starter in his firebird so it's saved for another day when I'm not working

Pull the battery. Flop the AC compressor over into that void with teh hoses still connected.
Remove the shroud, electric fan, manual fan etc etc.

Got my bypass pulley installed. Just welded some rod to what was left of the bolt and used the supplied hardware for the front. Seems solid and lines up nice. Only time will tell I suppose. Also put in a new idler pulley.

Full exhaust on the zj finally... MagnaFlow cat, thrush welded, 2.25 mandrel bent tailpipe. Just in time for emissions!
The starter is starting to go as well, probably steal one from my xj
Steering feels sloppy as well. As if it stuck in 4wheel drive, but not nearly as much bind.
Transmission dipstick tube keeps poping out as well.
I'm ignoring these issues for now
