Pioneerhighsteer, that is so totally sweet.
Love to see a backstory and fab blog in the aftermath.
By the seat of your pants you will fell how solid that rail plating makes your rig.
Enjoy

Installed rebuilt transfer case.
Changed oil.
Tightened up loose starter connection.

Finish up drive shafts and it will be back on the road again,

I have no time to a fab blog! My wife already hates how much time I take to work on the jeep!

Yesterday I put some more window tint on it, 12% up front and 9% on the rest.

Just pulled everything out of the YJ, short of the seats and subs. Scraped up most of the leftover carpet adhesive, chipped off some loose rust on the floorpans, and shop vac'ed everything from front to back. I removed the last of the carpeting yesterday (it was covering the kick panels and going under the doors), and I found at least 100 stinkbugs crawling around in there. Disgusting, but I'm glad I got rid of the little bastards.

Productive night at work. Sorted through everything and decided what to throw away (leftovers from the last few projects), what to put in storage, in my apartment, and what to keep in Jeep. Also decided I need more organized storage options in there back since I removed the bench.
