Took my passenger door panel off to tighten up the bolts to my mirror. It has been flopping since I bought it. Got those patched up, then couldn't get the door to lock. Something was interferring. Had to bend the lock rod a little bit since it was running into the door cut out. Then I figured out why my speaker wasn't putting out sound. It seems that it was a rush job install and the door liner was pushing the magnet onto the door and shorting it out. Not exactly sure, but it seems to sound a lot better now. Before it was just tinny garbage out of that door's speaker.
I still think this truck got hit on the right side, there is a weird paint failure (paint is cracking?) and the front bumper is kind of off center, and the passenger door lock is funky. Steers straight, so who cares.
Also found some buyers for my old tires w/ rims that were leaking which I replaced yesterday. Dudes seem to want to deal with pulling the tires off to get the treads that are still good. I even listed them as leaking like a good person. Fine by me, it'll cover half the cost of the new set!

Took the XJ on its 1st hunting trip and it handled it all like a champ. Hunting buddy with the Chevy HD pickup jumped in and said, "Hmm, I like it!" nuff said.
Now if only I could get the liftgate to stop sticking.

Want me to mail you some maple syrup? Or does your government think that's some kind of terrorist weapon?
